Body Procedures
Artistic Plastic Surgery Center offers several body procedures aimed at improving contour and appearance. Liposuction, including Ultrasound-Assisted Liposuction (UAL), removes undesirable fat from areas such as the thighs, abdomen, and upper arms, enhancing body contour where diet and exercise fail. Abdominoplasty, or tummy tuck, removes excess fat and skin from the abdomen, often benefiting women post-pregnancy and individuals with loose abdominal skin, resulting in a dramatic improvement in contour and self-esteem. A body lift addresses the entire trunk, buttocks, and thighs, especially after significant weight loss, by removing excessive skin and tightening tissues. This extensive procedure requires general anesthesia and a hospital stay. Lastly, brachioplasty, or arm lift, re-contours the arms by removing excess skin and fat, potentially involving an incision from the elbow to the armpit, improving the arm’s appearance despite some visible scarring.

Payment Options
This office participates in most insurance plans as either a participating or a non-participating provider.
In the vast majority of cases, cosmetic surgery is not considered to be medically necessary. Therefore, it is not covered by health insurance. Your out-of-pocket expenses will include:
- The surgeon’s fee
- The operating facility fees
- Anesthesia
- The cost for implants
- Laboratory testing
- Prescriptions
- Additional perioperative garments
- Skin care products

Surgical Facilities
Our in-house operating and recovery suite are certified for all types of anesthesia by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF) which means we meet the highest national standards. Advanced Cardiac Life Support certified personnel are present at all times during your surgery stay in our facility. We are also members of the Washington Ambulatory Surgery Center Association.
